Or are these the original sounds of the kit (td3soundmodule)?

Sounds a lot nicer and more realistic than many other videosamples here.

which sound kit from the model did you use?

it wont be a mic... all it would pick up is a thud of the stick hitting hard rubber... no sound comes out of the kit unless you have a speaker, and hes recording it directly to his computer with a cable.. so no need for a mic anyway, dunno what it is though lol
