Robert Spencer is a scholar and has been studying Islam for over 25 years. Spencer is the director of the website http://jihadwatch.org/ and advocates an honest look at the actual teachings of the Qu'ran and the example of Muhammad.

The truth shall set you free from your illusion! Why do most of the liberal AND conservative media (and people) fail to focus on this reality. The teachings of Islam clearly sanction violence against non-believers.

e.g. even a verse such as ..Whoever kills an innocent soul.. it is as if he killed the whole of mankind, And whoever saves one, it is as if he saved the whole of mankind" [The Quran, 5:32]

The term Innocent soul in this case only applies to followers of Islam. So those who oppose Islam or that simply do not accept their prophet are not deemed innocent.

Thanks to people like Robert Spencer we can hopefully avoid the naive views of what we are truly up against. An ideology that sanctions killing and conquest within its teachings!

In the following there is this ‘discussion’ between you and me on hate speech in the Qur’an. While I provide evidence, you offer personal insults and the long worn “out of context” and “you don’t understand Islam” pseudo arguments.

Really? Only someone suffering from ADHD or ADD can understand my question like you did. True Muslims don't believe in any sort of "BASHING" you fool. Judaism and Christianity are founded upon their OWN prophets i.e. Moses (as) and Isa (Jesus a.s.). Hence you won't see any true Muslim out there BASHING Judaism or Christianity like these "Subject-Matter" Experts (a.k.a Islamophobes) continue to do in a biased media. Racism has always been defeated in pages of history.

I read this book and have done quite a bit of research on islam. I thought Spencer was very generous to islam in that he only used islamic texts to draw his conclusions. My conclusion is that islam is the product of a madman that has been propagated through the centuries by sheer, blind terror by madmen who are made mad by a childhood filled with the butchery and profoundly inhuman ideology of islam. power hungry opportunist that his visions were actually divine revelations. (interesting to note that muslims claim things were just horrible for women pre-muhammad, and yet muhammad gained a place in the community on the shirt tails of a successful business WOMAN). Kind of like their claim that allah is the God of Abraham and yet Muhammad's FATHER who was the pagan priest was named "abdullah" which means slave of allah. Their stories don't hold much water for people who actually use their mind.

As I said, there are hundreds of Allah's hate verses against non-Muslims and the general picture that emerges is that of a gruesome, dark superbeing, merciless and hateful. It is absurd that, at the same time, the Qur’an refers to this god as merciful and beneficent. In what delusional state of mind must one be to ever believe this?

Allah’s hate speech in Sura 4. Read 4:47, cursing Jews and Christians, or 4:48-4:52 threatening Christians with divine violence for having their belief, or 4:55/56 cursing unbelievers with torture in hell: “As often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for other skins that they may taste the punishment”. Read 4:76, which commands to fight unbelievers and 4:89-91, commanding to kill apostates. This all teaches Muslims hatred against non-Muslims, not peace.
