Steam

In the summer of 1995, I taught the Young Filmmakers Workshop at the Film & Television Workshops at Rockport, Me. There were 13 boys and 5 girls, all of high school age in the workshop. On the last day of the ten day class, after all the student films had been made and shown, all five girls approached me and asked if they could make another film. Steam is the film they made in a few hours, largely improvised on the spot. I thought it was the best film done in the workshop. Credits are at the end of the video.
