lol, it'd be funny if the gel flew off the first time he hit it and was looking away, then smash the crap out of his hand

Apparently, some people can't read simple English. Clearly this stuff itself is not bullet resistant, but, in combination with fabrics like Kevlar or Spectra, it might help mitigate the impact trauma.

all it does is absorb shock, but it would be a great helmet lining

Yeah, and...

uhh. thats like rubber that means CAN be pierced but absorbs shock

Actually, this was in 2008, Over a year before Pitchmen.

You don't need a shoot date, all you need to know is that they're running Billys demo on the site. This was just "before" Pitchmen...

When was it made? I see a post date but no shoot date.

I saw this on Pitchmen. I'm a cop, and I so want this as a liner for my bullet-resistant vest. The vest should stop the bullet, but you still have to worry about blunt force trauma, and I think this stuff would be awesome for that! It'd also make great padding for firefighters under their turn-out gear for falling debris, etc, as well as for possibly making better riot-control armor for us cops.
