I wouldn't say he sold the black race out. He did give his life to further black freedom in america after all. He had his life threatened on several occasions and refused to stop his work. he and malcolm both did that, and deserve our utmost respect for doing so.

I think many of the comments here are missing one of the main points of the film. Malcolm eventually learned that their was good in all races in religions, so the hateful attacks towards other in the comment section are uncalled for. Don't respond to hateful comments with hateful responses. That's not what he would have wanted.
