Crashing off of Lexapro

Despite all my best efforts to keep my prescription going while changing between two Medicare prescription drug plans, I ran out of Lexapro about two days ago. This is what SSRI withdrawal looks like. No, I'm not stoned or hungover. My inability to speak, think clearly, and all my physical symptoms are due to Lexapro withdrawal. I'm in a spot, because I function better with it, but these times when I run out are going to happen no matter what I do. I'd quit the stuff, but the crash is too scary.

What I need is a caseworker to help me navigate this stuff, but I'm told I'm not crazy enough. I have to be developmentally disabled or psychotic. (sigh)
