If you are a professional publisher, you can probably study everything about your audience except when your audience copies text from your website and pastes it into email or Facebook or a blog. Wouldn't you like to know more? Absolutely! Tynt has a neat trick: when a user copy-and-pastes text it uses Javascript to include a link back to your text. Now it can be tracked and Derek Ball, CEO of Tynt, shows us how it's done.

I installed the TYNT java script code on my WordPress site yesterday. The gmail email alert I got from Tynt showed me the text tht was copied and share and the link generated and I didn't have to lift a finger. The Tynt guys need to get your value prop showcased on G+ sooner than later. Strong work guys!

But what if people just copy and paste but later delete the link that is auto generated while pasting.Ultimately you are giving an option for user to delete the link.
