This is a video I found about my father (Air Cmdre (R) S. Sajad Haider) and his brave comrades, some of whom are no longer with us.

This is a brief clip about the pilot's feelings and senses during the 1965 war. The men who believed in what this land was for fought hard to preserve it.

This clip was aired during an ARY Defence Day show in 2006. It was hosted by Noor-ul-Hasan and Dr.Muzna Ebrahim !

The pilots being interviewed are from No. 19 Sqn commanded by Air Cmdre (R) Sayed Sajad Haider, who was also affectionately known as Nosey Haider.

The Sqn was credited with destroying almost all the heavy equipment of 15th Infantry Div commanded Maj Gen Naranjan Prasad during his advanced to Lahore in 1965 war. On top of that the Sqn also destroyed close to 14 IAF aircraft on the ground during the renowned Pathankot raid!

Our heroes, our Shaheens, always smiling even in the face of challenges. This was a war and look how their eyes are glittering and they are smiling. These were true Mujahids who had all the help from Allah and true imaan in their hearts. I am sure todays PAF pilots are the same in spirit and morale, as well as training.

Pakistan Air Force! A symbol of pride for the nation.
