"Johanna Quartet" starring David Hess and Judy Kaye. I will not be doing many trades, just because it's stressful for me, and I have a lot of stuff going on, academically. I will not be taking many requests either. I'm sorry.

  • I know this is kind of off topic but what's with the picture...? I mean the buckets at the bottom

  • The buckets signify the deaths that occur b/c of Sweeny Todd. It's so different from the movie in the fact that everyuthing in the play is more symbolic than physically present. It's so neat. I recommend anyone going to see it if it comes to their town.

  • No, I know for sure that it's David Hess because I recorded this show. But good observation :)

  • I agree, the revival was absolutely amazing! It displayed more emotion through the actions of the characters by what they did than it did in the movie. It wasn't just senseless killing, but more or less sending a message with each victim. VERY well put together! Loved it.

  • Does anyone have a live version of when Sweeney kills a custmore??

  • Well I'm way more familiar with the original stage production than the revival in fact, when people say Sweeney Todd I normally think of the original production before I think of the movie

  • Hey do you have Johanna from the same show. Cuz i remember Benjamin Magnuson singing it and he BLEW ME AWAY! this song also obviously has him, but do u have just that song that he sings solo in?

  • You're thinking "Donna" who played Pirelli in the Broadway Revival Cast.

  • It sounds more like Alexander Gemingiani (who understudied in Toronto) as Sweeney than David Hess. (Then again, I've never heard David Hess, so I could be wrong.)

  • I'm seeing this on Saturday! I can't wait!
