Out flying one morning and some birds started flying after my new park flyer here in Dubai.

This was my second flight with this plane and only my fifth or sixth RC flight ever.
I was still getting used to it, and you can see I almost crashed it at about 0:30 luckily I pulled it out in time. It's very sturdy, I crashed on the first flight, but I didn't need to replace a single part. The cowl was cracked, the drive shaft was bent and it had a few other scuffs, but I was ready to fly again two days later.

It flies very well, and is very responsive yet stable in winds, Perfect for people like me who don't want/can't get an expensive gas plane but want a bit more than a beginner 3 channel.

I bought mine from a store here in Dubai for about US $100, however I've seen this plane online in a number of locations eg. Amazon and Banana Hobbies. Just about every part is available as a replacement.

4 channel electric GeeBee park flyer.
550 grams flying weight.
14 oz/ft^2 wing loading.
650 mA/h 9.6 V Ni-Mh battery give ~8-10 minute flight.
Brushed geared motor.

I try to answer all questions as as best I can, so if I missed anything feel free to comment.

  • @drjones198111 I've crashed it twice now, and repaired it easily. The only thing that could be better is if it lands on gravel or even lands hard on concrete the wheels fall off. And then you have to simply glue them back on, no harm done. So for me or anyone else who want's to have a cheep plane to fly at the park on weekends it a great plane.

  • @drjones198111 Same one in the video. If you look around you can get it for < $100. amazon(dot)com/4-Channel-Remote-Control-Airplane-Aerobatic/dp/B002U6U6M4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1298013394&sr=8-1

For all practical purposes it's my first RC plane ever, and I love it. Fairly easy to fly, easy to repair, and durable.

It's made out of a hard foam. All of the electronics are about as cheep as they come, but they work fine, and the remote has servo reversing and V-tail configurations.

  • cool vid ... what plane is that ... it look like one i was looking at on Amazon .. kinda want to buy one but didn't know the quality.. let me thanks
