Reports Of Ghosts At The Derelict Fletcher Convalescent Home in Cromer Norfolk Spooky Pictures

Unexplainable instances have been reported throughout the years concerning Fletcher Convalescent Home that sits rotting because of red tape surrounding it's planned conversion to housing. This grand Victorian house was built in 1893 in Cromer, Norfolk by E Boardman and Son. It's eery stained glass windows smashed and open to the elements, deteriorating with every passing day. Some say the ghosts of former patience haunt the dark corridors of the hospital not being able to rest until the stalemate concerning building is resolved.

yay the fletcher, we used to go in there everyday after school, i can remember that place off by heart, i might go in there again soon!, we were the first lot of ppl to go in there, when we first got in there they still had all the beds and equiptment in there, so we let off all the fire extinquishers, when we first got into the morgue outside there was a bloody glove in the middle of the room and loads of toe tags spead across the floor,

been in here myself a few times .... super creepy with a horrible feeling, plus when I passed some stairs going down to the basement, I heard horrible unearthly growling/groaning noises and ran out of there soooo fast ... was very freaky :-s

Sorry for any offence caused.I've visited Auschwitz myself and it was a ghastly enough experience for me,so God knows what it must have been like for the inmates.I wasn't trying to be flippant in my description,the place really did look evil,but I accept your objections,and once again apologise.

@mikey200885 no u weren't me and my friends were when they official closed it down and the people putting boarders up at the windows we went in there because my grand mother left her trinket box in there and i forgot to get it so i was trying to creep in to get it and that shows thatu haven't been in there because there isn't even a morgue! it was just a hospital and the kichen was outside! and don't even try to say that i didn't go everywhere because i did and use too visit my grandmother!

@mikey200885 I thought the toe tag story was just a rumour. We never got into the morgue. We stole all the nurse outfits out the wardrobes and played doctors and nurses. lol. rearranged all the furntiture etc.... Miss those days. Now there is nothing in there except a burst pipe that is always flowing.

When you walk around inside this place it tells a story of it's own! When it was first left it was as if everyone had left in a hurry! beds left as if someone had just out of them! clothes still hung in wardrobes! Nowerdays it's empty and trashed, still very scary tho.
