This is the weather, chaos and destruction that met us on my return to Brands Hatch after a two year gap.

This is the event inwhich the opening BTCC race of the weekend was stopped due to a serious pile-up on the entry to Druids... where I stood to watch the first ever A1GP race with my good buddy Chris... That's another very long eventful story...

Standing on Paddock Hill, I had a great view...

...but couldn't get my camera out.

...Can't win 'em all.

The tune is of course:
Reverend Horton Heat - Psychobilly Freakout.

  • I beg to differ my friend.

  • nice- u could "stir up" some more action when u next go to a btcc event. sorry was that joke poor!!! - obviously runing yer resturant is more inportant then utube!!

  • Yeah I'm sorry about that - I also run a restaurant so I'm almost constantly working - It's partly the reason I've not made too many videos recently - that and the fact I need a couple of new cameras...

  • wow- that was a late reply. forgot all about this till now- as well as yer other vid i commented on aswell!!

  • Well I got up that day thinking "Right - I need something great to make into a video"...

And someone up there heard me...

Usually I'm on edge waiting for the next spin, so I can catch it on time...

That day, I didn't need to try! like at 0:46...

I was just filming for the hell of it and someone kindly gave me something to watch.

Thanks for the view and the comment! Happy Tubing!

  • I could....

However - through a low-grade camera they sounded pretty... awful.

    I agree - Porsche flat-6 engine - great noise...

...but... not so great through a phone.

  • WOW!

Fantastic man! You were there to bear witness to automotive carnage!

It was a simply brilliant day to see a race packed with action. Most exciting race meet I've been to in years. Thanks for watching - Look out for future BTCC events! I'll be at most of 'em!

  • nice captures-i think that was the most eventful porsche weekend ever lol-i don't remember all those incidents when they showed the races but as i have just realised when writing this-they only showed a couple of support races and not 5 hours worth!!
