“Love is the one thing that money can't buy.”

As John once asked of Paul, "How do you sleep?"
My sentiments exactly.
-
So which one of them is John?
-
wrong pitch he was faster in the mono version

Fantastic voice

It doesn't sound right to me without George and John, Rest In Peace George Harrison and John Lennon!<3

@selmansax Good point, indeed. However, having samples sounding so damn realistic nowadays (can't deny that), I guess it's logistically easier to do it that way. If I were Paul (HUGE LAUGH!), I'd use the samples too. Being a musician, I would understand. Cheers.

I don't get something. No doubt a classic song, classic performance. Beautiful melancholy mood etc. etc. The greatest musical influence on popular music etc. etc. no doubt. My question: how come super mega gazziolionaires guys like McCartney resort to recreating the beautiful earthy strings and horns on the original recordings with cheezy samplers? I don't get it, it can't be budget...Paul, carry a three piece horn section and a string quartet on your next tour.

@selmansax Good point I guess, Wings had an epic horn section in the 70s. But there could be any number of reasons that they didn't do it here. This band was a fresh line-up at this point, maybe they just wanted to build band morale by doing everything themselves or... I don't know.
