In the lower block (above the hook) I used custom made, brass sheaves. I was hoping these would pull the hook down while lowering, but this proved to be not the case. I still needed weight attached to the hook to make it go down. All the other sheaves are standard Lego pulley wheels nr.3736. For a later crane model, I used silk kite rope with better results, without brass pulley wheels.

Question. Using the halifire wheels, how did you mount anything to them? or is there a turntable inside of it?
