I think it was 1988 was the last year with the 5,0l smog pump(136bhp) because that was the last year that gm´s passanger cars had a carburated engine.

I know Cadillac's aren't so fuel efficient, but this commercial makes me feel so much better about driving my ElDorado. I did not want to settle for a Hyundai Accent because I knew it wasn't safe :/ I'm glad I got a El Dorado instead <333

Well the real Brougham ended in 1992 but, the 1993 -1996 version had fuel injection I think.

Was this the last year for the Fleetwood Brougham? I have never owned one but would like to find one someday. Doesn't it still have the carbureted 307 engine or had they gone to fuel injection by this time?

I remember the whole 'Cadillac Style' commercial series. I have a 1991 Brougham. In my opinion, the best of the whole lineup at that time. Sad the commercial barely even shows it. Thanks for the post.
