First Lady Jane Beshear Announces Net-Zero Energy School Grant to Richardsville Elementary School

Kentucky First Lady Jane Beshear announced an award of $1.37 million to Warren County Public Schools. The grant will fund the purchase of solar panels for Richardsville Elementary Schools, enabling the school to achieve net-zero energy usage during the span of a year. The grant is American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding and is given by the U.S. Department of Energy through the Kentucky Department for Energy Development and Independence.
