  • wats up with the "brbrbrbbrbr" thing sounding every now and then?

  • @randomstuff5464 That´s the sound that starts when the THS (Trimmable Horizontal Stabelizer) is moving

  • was the autopilot disengaged after touchdown?

  • @scavenger1975 yes, when the airspeed was reduced to around 80 kts the captain disconnected the autopilot and took manual control over the nosewheel steering to vacate the runway

  • hur kom du in i cockpit? snyggt filmat!

  • tack, jag kontaktade dåvarande chefspiloten och fick på så sätt en dags "praktik" på en tur&retur flygning med flygbolaget.

  • Arlanda <3 GO SWEDEN!

  • @101HeyNow the L1011 was the first plane with autoland, i was one of the test pilots for certification.......md83 isnt that old.

  • I love flying on DC9s/MD-80s, but that 3-panel front windscreen buggers all. Each of the posts are rather close to the PIC/co-pilot's line of sight. Other'n that, fun plane to fly on.

  • I didnt know those dinosours of an aircraft had autoland. Must of been an aftermarket accessory from autozone.

  • pretty hard

  • Fast landing
