Sam Phillips released Elvis' Mystery Train in 1955 on the Sun Records Label. Conway borrowed alot from Elvis' Mystery Train when he recorded Long Black Train 5 years after Mystery Train. Elvis was the true innovator when you compare both artist.

Twitty was stumpy looking and had virtually no stage charisma, especially compared to Presley. Presley had more of a raw edge (in his early music) while Twitty was adequate but pedestrian. They ended up just where they should have: Presley, The Legend; Twitty, Who?

He had more talent in his little finger than Elvis did in his whole body. And was a true gentleman in every aspect of his life. RIP Harold Lloyd Jenkins, your music lives on....:-)
