Landoll VT Plus Vertical Tillage Tool - Arends Farm, Melvin, IL - taken by Johan Van Aarde, Territory Manager for Northeast MO, IL south of I-80 except SE IL and Western IN - HD 720p video - select 720p on bottom right hand bottom corner of screen and select to run in full screen - running 9 mph - 2.0" deep - this is corn on corn and was worked in the wet and late fall with a DMI Ecolo tiger Disc ripper - it was not "knocked down" in fall or spring, this was the 1st pass over after the ripper, they do leave it "rough" - this was the first pass over at 2" deep to knock it down, let it dry and then hit it again the next day or later the same day - we wanted to stay at 2" working depth or shallower, so we would not work deeper than planting depth, it knocked it down good, but because it was so wet underneath, we wanted to work it again to reduce clod size and do more leveling- this is good dirt, heavy, black and wet - we also ran it in bean stubble and corn stalks and Ken Ferrie was happy with the job it did and said it conforms to his principles of Vertical Tillage
