Interview after the First Day of Preschool

It was this 3-year old toddler's first day of preschool, and Mom and Dad interviewed her in the car on the way home.

For those of you who have e-mailed me telling me I'm a terrible parent because I give my daughter drugs, you can relax. We didn't give her anything. A few days earlier, we were talking about what her Children's Tylenol was for and this is just her remembering what it does (a painkiller).

@chon1913 You're right. My point should have been to ask you to read the description of the video before you pass judgement. After all, you have only spent four minutes viewing a fraction of my daughter's life through a computer screen. I'd rather teach my daughter about things and have her use them out of context than keep her in the dark about them.

Every night you parents should be going to sleep knowing how intelligent and sweet your daughter is. You are a success when it comes to parenting. I admire your parenting. Ignore all those stupid negative comments

It's good that you're thick-skinned enough to disregard the few overly judgemental comments ( with embarassing spelling). You don't need me to tell you this, but it's obvious that you are doing a fine job. She seems very intelligent and well-spoken, and just plain adorable. It's a shame that people are so quick to jump to their worst conclusions, when all you are trying to do is share a sweet and proud moment. Congratulations to the both of you!

She's sooo cute! I'm glad she enjoyed her first day of pre-school. What a proud day. Enjoy it, kids have this awful habit of growing up too fast!

I freaked out about the Tylenol a little at first too, then I read that you were just telling her about it the other night. I know how curious my 3 year old is and how these little things are remembered (even for years to come!). Your daughter is so incredibly smart and I hope our little girl will do well at her 1st day of preschool too!
