  • "Hawksfan" is wrong. You have the correct feel for Pete Johnson-style boogie. Those guys back then (in the thirties) were just starting to experiment with "straight eighths." It was called Western-style boogie, and your feel is dead on for it.

  • It's hard for me to imagine Pete Johnson, Albert Ammons or Fats Waller playing an electronic keyboard. But you do a heck of a job with it.
