  • I second that emotion! Definitely the best role Tom Tryon ever had...he later became a best selling novelist. The superb score by the late great Jerome Moross ("The Big Country", "Wagon Train", etc) of course didn't hurt! :)

  • My 2nd favorite opening (Sharkey's Machine is #1). Does anyone remember this as the opening to the radio day for Armed Forces Radio in Vietnam '68-early '69?

  • Marvelous ,a fantastic lesson of cinema ,arquitecture ,mathematics ,lights ,shadows ,amazing music ,and a mixture of genius :Preminger,Bass ,Moross,Bernini ,Juan Caramuel ,Palladio,Vitrubio,Apolodorus of Damasco,Bramante ,Michelangelo ....THANKS FOR IT
