"And after the flood we are told that the curse that had been pronounced upon Cain was continued through Ham's wife, as he had married a wife of that seed. And why did it pass through the flood? Because it was necessary that the devil should have a representation upon the earth as well as God" John Taylor (Journal of Discourses 22:304).
"Why is it, in fact, that we should have a devil? Why did the Lord not kill him long ago? Because he could not do without him. He needed the devil and a great many of those who do his bidding to keep men straight, that we may learn to place our dependence on God, and trust in Him, and to observe his laws and keep his commandments. When he destroyed the inhabitants of the antediluvian world, he suffered a descendant of Cain to come through the flood in order that he might be properly represented upon the earth" John Taylor (Journal of Discourses 23:336).
Note: I honestly believe that the lion's share of Mormons are not racist - and few are truly acquainted with what past Mormon prophets and apostles have said about the blacks, the priesthood and their inability (prior to 1978) to get into the Celestial Kingdom (except as servants), to be endowed or to be sealed to an eternal family (which all other Mormons at the time were allowed and enabled to do). The purpose here is certainly not to perpetuate a racist label on the Mormons.
It is the Mormon doctrine on the blacks (rather than the Mormon people) and why it existed at all that should concern us. Were the "prophets" that taught such doctrine truly prophets of God? That is the real issue and question. My hope is that the interest of mormons and non-mormons alike will be piqued enough to be motivated to thoroughly investigate and find all of the relevant facts on this and so many other issues - so that all may make their own informed conclusions.
Like all things Mormon, Up is down and down is up. Mormonism curses blacks. But this is a blessing because it has kept millions of blacks out of the lie of Mormonism. Mormonism blesses the white and delightsome. But this has cursed millions of white morons into the lie of Mormonism. Brigham Young summed up Mormonism best when he was discussing Adam=God Doctrine:::"Adam fell but he fell in the right direction, he fell up".

@IExposeMormonism Interesting. I hadn't thought of it that way before. The Mormon black/curse of cain issue has been a great blessing to blacks in that millions of blacks were spared the yoke of Mormonism specifically because of that issue. White folks - not as lucky not having that barrier. Great insight!
Only in Mormonism is Adam & Eve's sin exalted and hailed as a great event. Yes, up is down & down is up in Mormonism.
