This is that other way of merging tiles in the Timesplitters: Future Perfect mapmaker that doesn't involve extra floors and AI. It can be quicker than the extra floors method, once you get the hang of it. This was explained to me at the Rec Room by SV Sharkgun but I couldn't get it to work with 3x3 tiles on my Gamecube, so I use the #11 tile to start out with. NOTE: If you are having trouble making this work, go ahead and copy the #11 tiles so that there are a total of 40 tiles stretching across the entire grid. When you pick them up with the cursor as far to the left as possible, you will get some overlaps pretty quickly, even on Xbox. With Gamecube you only need few tiles for it to work quickly; PS2 seems to take about 10-12 tiles for it to work quickly. Basically the more tiles that are lined up, the greater the chances of causing an overlap among them.
In this short video I show making a simple invisible ramp and a 1-way walkthrough wall. From the AI's position, the wall of the #5 tile is transparent (Gamecube; on PS2 the wall will appear solid), so he sees me and comes through. You can hide unwanted spawn lights, or place hidden/indestructible autoguns behind similarly glitched walls.
SV Sharkgun's guide to merging is at http://timesplitters4.net in the mapmaker forum. I tried to fully link it but can't. But I can link the home of his glitch demonstration videos: http://www.myvideo.de/news.php?rubrik=gorjp&searchMember=1990419&p=vs17a
Is this how you could make invisible doors like in your map called "The Unseen"?

@EBbugattiveyron101 yeah, the door in that is transparent because its where an overlap is and the door is along a certain axis.

So if you were to use the sky glitch on a map which method would use less free space this method or the 7th floor method?

@junkiemonkey123 Neither is better that the other memory-wise. The end result is the same.

@1994BNC if you have gamestops in your area they are likely to have it, depending on the quantity of last-gen games they keep on hand (small mall stores probably not).
