  • Unfortunately music is becoming nothing more than a mere fad. Or what those brainless zombies call music. I will have to agree with the previous users who've posted on this thread. Real music is becoming difficult to come by now-a-days. It seems being hip with the crowd is more important than expressing what one is endorsed by their own souls to express, rather than these senseless, taste-less ear bleeders of the that are out now. Luckily we have Candy rat.

  • yah .. it's such a shame that REAL music is buried in oblivion bit by bit ..

all these kids, trying to be like mileys cyrus and what else .. all blinded by these fancy-schmancy world broads..

I mean .. lately I was searching for something on youtube and I just typed an "L" and the first auto-complete proposal was "lady gaga"

what happened to good old man made music.. ?

  • @m0rl0rd i try to understand todat's music as well. but what meaning could be hiding be hind songs like "Peacock" or "Like a boss"? you gotta agree it's gettint more and more difficult to do that ):

  • @HikoruTheBrokenBlade Cool story bro

  • @lukethespook7 hye fellas is there no live version of this song where we can see him play

atleast we should see what he actually does :D

  • @HikoruTheBrokenBlade I agree that this is a beautiful song, but I always find it interesting that there are lovers of certain genres that will say that about other types of music for different reasons. For instance, there are people who feel that way about this song. Who's to say they're any more wrong or right than you? Every song is real, and every song has SOME meaning behind it. I'm a classical music fan myself, and it's tough not to be critical of "today's music", but I try to understand.

  • it sounds like "more than words" O.O

  • addic

  • fingerstyle is more than a way to play guitar, its one form to touch in the surface of the water and vibrate that waves in sound... ;]

  • The effects on the chorus sound an awful lot like those that Steven Wilson uses.

  • @HikoruTheBrokenBlade i agree. i try to make my own stuff. sites like jamstudios help young artists like me create new music.

  • @mikegurnham HikoruTheBrokenBlade's comment really implies that if his music were more popular, it would be a fad (which s/he gives a negative connotation). I think this illustrates a false dichotomy between music being popular, and music being good. It really can be both (Radiohead = popular, trendy, and good)
