@tallchick80 We just did what we had to. but thank you for the thank you. As bad as I am around these tree rats, I still never want to hurt any animal. I killed quite a few that had the old branch trick up in them. I figures it was going to be far quicker.

@junkintrunk55 I thought that you were implying it was merely a hobby and that you did it "just because". In a time of war I could see why you would have to exterminate the monkeys. They do steal and they do are quite loud. I've had my fair share of bad experiences with monkeys in Africa (from stealing my shoes to trying to attack me) and if their life meant my life, I wouldn't hesitate killing one. Thank you for your service to our nation.

@tallchick80 The reason we killed them in Vietnam is we were in a war, and these things would follow you, crapping on your supplies and stealing them. They would also give your position away. The farmers would ask us to exterminate them. The common way they get rid of them is to trap them, ram a sticker branch up their behinds, and let them die over 2-3 days. It seems like anyone who lives with them hates them.In a war, killing people, killing monkeys doesn't seem that bad.

@junkintrunk55 It's stuff like that that makes me wonder who the real vicious animals are on our planet. Killing animals as an enjoyable and hilarious sport reminds me a kid I once knew who was a sociopath, she liked breaking baby birds necks and killed the family dog by trapping it in a jacuzzi set on high for four days. She's now in an institution and her therapists factually state that she would be a good candidate for murdering humans someday.
Kill animals for meat and to eat only.
