The World of Islam (USA Edition): is a documentary-style television series which brings viewers face to face with the true identities of American Muslims. Join us as we travel America coast to coast, and all that is in between, in order to present the viewer with a real picture of the life and times of the Muslims in America.

Meet the Muslim Americans who have against all odds, become valuable and vital threads in the fabric of American Society.

This series allows the viewer to become acquainted with Muslims who have attained celebrity status and have taken on all forms of stardom from NBA stars, hip hop artists and comedians who interject their voices and use their fame and art forms to promote positive understanding about Islam and Muslims.

We have an interview with the very first of 2 Muslim US Congressmen, as well as one on one conversations with some of America's most notable Imams and Islamic speakers.

Experience, the moments of truth in the lives of a number of American Muslim converts as they relive their awe-inspiring journeys to Islam before our cameras. Watch their stories unfold as we unearth those events that caused them to choose Islam as their religion.

Let us present to you defining moments in the American present and how the Muslims are reworking the framework on which America stands. Explore how Islam changes the dynamics of interfaith dialogue in America in an especially peculiar case involving a Catholic priest and his interfaith dialog efforts, and the efforts of a Jewish lawyer, on behalf of a Muslim client whose case has been accepted by the US Supreme Court! Unfortunately, false propaganda campaigns that deface Islam have permeated the world around us. About the Producer
Mr. Umar Jamil Nasser is the Host and Producer of the The World of Islam. He is a second generation Muslim American, from New York City, NY. Son of Jamil Nasser of Memphis Tenn., who accepted Islam in the 1950s from West African delegates to the United Nations in NYC. Mr. Nasser was Muslim serving as a telecommunications engineer in the United States Air Force during the 1st Gulf War. It was during this time that he was able to make Umrah and Haj for the 1st time. Those experiences in Saudi Arabia constituted a spiritual turning point in my life. After my return to the USA I resigned my position in the USAF and after a few years returned to Saudi Arabia. After 9/11, I decided it was important to use the media to address the many misconceptions in the world about Islam and Muslims.

Mr. Nasser has hosted 200+ episodes of his program "The Truth about Islam" for Saudi Arabian TV Ch2. He produced and hosted the series "Islam In America" for Saudi TV Ch2. He has also hosted and produced the series "Muslims in America" for the Huda TV Channel. Our objective is to produce films that create conduits of understanding between Islam and the West. We are showing the world the true peaceful nature of Islam and Muslims. Muslims have many beautiful & inspiring stories, which, when told through Film, will help to humanize negative opinions and negate many misconceptions about Islam and Muslims. Presently, Mr. Nasser has been working and living in Riyadh Saudi Arabia for the past 12 years

she's wearing is nothing to do with islam but is CULTURAL, secondly the

abomination she's wearing has been invented by misogynist, chauvinist men

that viewed women as their property. thirdly islam is a man made religion.

P.S for women who 'decide' to wear the burka would be like black people deciding to wear clothing created by white supremacists or jews wearing
