@BrianMajor They made the SS NA sedan which was naturally aspirated and made 155 at the wheels. I have one.

the sedans didnt have 260hp until after 2008 so if hes in a 2008 ss sedan hes got 170hp-FYI

my cobalt is an 2007 ss sedan 2.4ecotec and it produces 171 hp stock

in 2006 there was a base SS model with the 2.4l engine....thats why the SS was named the SS "supercharged" for the top model SS.......basically people do the math before you jump to conclusions......she was wrong yes but she wasnt far off

i saw an ss sedan that wasnt turbo it had a 2.4l ecotec and it made 171 hp and 168 lb ft. torque.......so i dont know

It felt like more than 155 but It didn't feel like 260, then again the car had been beaten on for 3 days straight. I think she was reading from the wrong pamphlet but I tried to ignore it... didn't want to be rude.
