Went into pictochat, drew each frame (well, mostly copied back an image and made little changes to it). To make the drawings "move" in animation, I just pressed and held the left shoulder button and then pressed and held the right shoulder button, which makes the DS shuffle down through each drawing. You can also hold the shoulder buttons vice versa to shuffle up through the drawings. Voilà.
