This is an alternate version of the Slowdive "Alison" video. Here's a message from a Youtube user named rubincockinos, who directed the video:
"where in the word did you find this video?
I directed it and didn't thin ANYONE else had this.
if ya, want the story EMI gave me 1000$ and the original english video, (in PAL) to redo it for the USA. So without access to the Band, I took the original band source footage and re-shot with no $, they wanted a whole new look to the video, with so little $ I relied on effects more then extra footage to make a story it was my first video of 2 i did before got into a different industry.

This was the U.S. version ... the original UK video was deemed 'not good enough' by their American record company.
I remember this from an interview Slowdive did on tv.
Love this band, arguably one of the most underrated bands of the 90s. Rachel Goswell, the indie siren to end all indie sirens.
