Coding Practices and Differences

Programmers of all types do not think the same. They learn a language and then take different approaches to solving a single problem. This can be frustrating to new programmers who do not know what to look for when learning to code. You can browse the internet on a single subject and find thousands of suggestions on how to solve a single coding problem. WebOS programming is no different. I'm going to show you in this video how two different coding methods are used to accomplish the same tasks in the basics of building WebOS Applications.

I have 0 experience programming and I am trying to learn javascript as quickly as possible. What books or videos do you suggest I look at to get up to speed?
