Dead Space: Extraction running on the dolphin emulator SVN 4968 in 720p HD.
The game can be played at great speed's in HD and at runs at full speed when fraps isn't recording. This goes to show that with a strong enough PC wii games on dolphin can be emulated quite well.

The game does lag sometimes in the video due to the fact that fraps is running in the background, so sorry about that.

The game runs really well and can run at full speed with perfect sound. Fraps is slowing the game down a little and makes it run around 40FPS on average out of 50FPS.
The graphics are good and look great on dolphin. There are a few glitches here and there, but they are barley visible.

NOTE:
I do skip through a bit of the game to get to the stage i begin with in the video. The intro cinematics are a little long and not very interesting and the game takes a while to get going. This is where everything starts to get interesting, so i hope you like it and enjoy the video.

Running the PAL version.

Links to the emulator are on my channel.

  • I know you said you used a real wii remote, but do you have to use it?

  • @frenchfriesidiot with recent recordings added to the wii remote plugin i dont believe you need it anymore, you can use a keyboard and mouse as a wii remote and nunchuck.

  • Did you use a real wii remote? If not, how do you shake with a virtual wii remote?

  • i used a real wii remote in this video dude.

to shake the emulated wii remote just press the assigned button you have to the shake function... you dont shake your mouse to perform the shake motion.

  • Hi there. Please help me: I can't save my game. I played for a couple of chapters, and exited, but there was no save of my progress, despite auto-save being enabled ( my profile is still there )

  • I can't seem to charge my glow worm with by shaking my emulated wiimote- what do I do?

  • @BankaiHalo LOL no.

  • is this a scary game or is it just really action packed?

  • Here are my PC specs:

    -Intel(R) Pentium(R) D @ 3.40GHz

    -2GB DDR2 402.4 MHz RAM

    -NVIDIA GeForce 210 1GB

    -Windows XP Home Edition 32Bit

My FPS is only around 9-10, is there any way I can improve the FPS to 40+ without the need to get new hardware? =(

  • Goddamn. I want to play this, but it is stuck constantly at half speed.

  • @bangedass

    Core i7 930

Though, you could buy i7 2600 which is better than both

  • If you have problem with the shake scene at the beginning using virtual wiimote, assign buttons to the "swing" -left, right, up, down. And spam those button, it will solve the problem, enjoy the game =)

  • The game sticks around 10-50fps because it's intentionally frame limited like zelda TP.

But after seeing this, damn i want a bulldozer AMD cpu right now ^^
