Josh Towers still sucks, he just doesn't suck as hard or as long or as deep as last year. It's June 15th, and on this day in 2006 he was 0-6 with an ERA around 7.50. Now in 2007 he's 2-4 with an ERA around 5.00. If he learns not to through 0-2 fastballs belt high and right over the plate, he'd fair a lot better.

Josh Towers is not stupid. I'm sure he knows a lot more about the art of pitching than AJ Burnett does. He probably misses over the plate, not meaning to throw it there. Over his career, I would say that Towers is a good MLB pitcher. He had some really bad starts in 2006 that really hurt him, but he also had many that were okay, just not quite good enough.
