I see the advantage of the additional wheel in that situation. Longitudinal grooves are a bitch for any bike.

They put 2 in front because it improves steering, cornering, braking power. Having 1 in front and 2 in back make a trike very unstable - that caused so many deaths in atv's in the early 80's they stopped making them and replace them with quads.

I got the Piaggio rear luggage Givi looking thingy which has a rider backrest standard..Comfortable

and a trunk like a lincoln Town car. No other scooter comes close as to for storage ( they're sold on E:bay new every day) and cheap there too!..enjoy..

PS..my other bike is a V-rod..
