Rabbit hunting With our Beagle, Best Kill Shot Ever!

This rabbit was hauling down the hill when I spotted him, when I swung the gun around he turned around and headed back up the bank. I made a heck of a shot and the dog was right on his heals. The dog comes in on the rabbit within a few seconds Feb 11 2010.
We also do guided hunts.

Beagles make great house dogs however if you plan to hunt them in the winter they should sleep out side so they get good winter hair. They are great around other dogs and are one of the most mild mannered dogs there is. Great around kids. they just love to be loved. Very smart and house trainable. Ours spend lots of time in the house during the off times but sleep outside all of the time.

We have two pups that will be running this year and hope to make a lot of great video. Good luck

@victory4msu25 Its take quite a bit of time when they are young, most areas have beagle clubs where you can start a dog and run him regularly. Teaching a dog to mind and come when called are the most inportant part of owning a hunting dog. The hunting and chasing instinct in a beagle is amazing. Lots of info on line if you search around. any questions just ask.

These are tracking collars, If we were to update our collars we would go with the GPS models from garmin. THese work good but are the same price as the garmins.

I wish my beagle was like yours. Every time we get a rabbit he bites the piss out of it as soon as he catches up lol. He hunts good though.
