Kingscote Station on the Lewes to East Grinstead line was opened by the London,Brighton & South Coast Railway in 1882. Closed by BR in 1955,when the line reopened in August 1956 the station at Kingscote remained closed.The line finally closed in 1958.Seen here in August 1992 the station was reopened in April 1994 by the Bluebell Railway and is at present the northern terminus of line.
