Agni Suktam {Subtitles}

Agni Suktamis the first hymn in the oldest of the vedas, the Rig Veda and is addressed to Agni, the fire-god, who is considered a cosmic power, who protects and guides human beings towards perfection. अग्नि सूक्तं सबसे पहले वेद ऋग्वेद की सबसे पहली ऋचा है ,यह अग्नि को संबोधित करके गयी है ,अग्नि के देव को , जिन्हें ब्रह्माण्ड की शक्ति माना जाता है ,जो की रक्षा करने वाली है , मनुष्यों को पूर्णता की ओर प्रेरित करती है 

अग्निमीळे पुरोहितं यज्ञस्य देवं रत्वीजम |होतारं रत्नधातमम ||
1 I glorify Agni, the chosen Priest, God, the divine,minister of sacrifice,
offerer and possessor of wealth.हम अग्नि की प्रशंसा करते हैं ,जो कि चुने हुए पुरोहित हैं ,दिव्य हैं ,यज्ञ के मंत्री हैं ,सम्पति के स्वामी और दाता हैं

2 Agni is Worthy to be praised by living as by ancient seers.May Agni brings the Gods here.अग्नि प्रशंसा के योग्य हैं ,पुरातन ऋषियों के द्वारा और आज के जीवों के द्वारा भी , अग्निदेव देवताओं को यहाँ पर ले आयें

3 Man obtains ever increasing wealth,through Agni, also fame and progeny.अग्नि के द्वारा मनुष्य सदैव बढ़ने वाली संपत्ति , यश ,वंश को प्राप्त कर लेता है

4 Oh Agni, the perfect sacrifice which you surround,that certainly reaches to the Gods.हे अग्नि ,यज्ञ जिस की आहुति को आप ग्रहण कर रहे हैं , वह अवश्य ही देवताओं तक पहुँच जायेगा

5 May Agni, possessor of immense wisdom Priest, he who is true, most gloriously divine,The God, come here with the Gods. हे अग्नि , महान बुद्धि के स्वामी पुरोहित , आप सत्य हैं ,सबसे तेजोमयी , दिव्य हैं ,परम तत्त्व हैं ,आप देवताओं के साथ यहाँ पधारिये

6 Whatever blessing, oh Agni, you will grant to your worshipper,
That, Aṅgiras, is indeed your essence.{In the Rigveda, Agni is sometimes referred to as Angiras or as a descendant of Angiras (RV 1.1).}हे अग्नि , आप जो भी कृपा अपने भक्त पर करते हैं ,अंगिरस अवश्य ही आपका सार है

7 Oh Agni, dispeller of the night, we come near to you day by day with prayer,thought
Bringing thee reverence, we comeहे अग्नि ,रात्रि को दूर करने वाले , हम दिन पर दिन आपके समीप आ रहे हैं , अपने विचारों और प्रार्थनाओं से , आपकी वंदना करते हुए

8 Oh Agni,Ruler of sacrifices, guard of Law eternal, radiant One,
Increasing in thine own abode we approach near you.
हे अग्नि यज्ञों के राजा/स्वामी ,सनातन सत्य ,प्रकाशमयी ,अपने तेज में निरंतर वृद्धि को प्राप्त होने वाले , हम आपके समीप आ रहे हैं

9 Oh Agni please be accesible to us,just as a father to his son:
Agni, be with us for our well being.
हे अग्नि , कृपया आप हमें उपलब्ध होईये , जिस प्रकार एक पिता अपने पुत्र को होता है , हे अग्नि आप हमारे भले के लिए हमारे साथ रहिये

agním īḷe puróhitaṃ / yajñásya devám ṛtvíjam / hótāraṃ ratnadhâtamam

Agni I laud, the high priest, god, minister of sacrifice, The invoker, lavishest of wealth.
