PlusGa. Police Shoot and Kill Kidnap SuspectGa. Police Shoot and Kill Kidnap SuspectThe Associated PressA suspected kidnapper was killed by police in a Waffle House parking lot in Gwinnett County, Georgia after demanding ransom from the alleged victim's family. (July 8)Police in Georgia shot and killed a kidnapping suspect during what was supposed to be a handover of ransom money. The family of Juan Arce-Flores told police that he'd been taken from his Gwinnett Country apartment last week. A close friend went to Arce-Flores' attorney.(SOT: CATHY MORRIS ALTERMAN/ARCE-FLORES ATTORNEY)SHE TOLD ME HE'D BEEN KIDNAPPED AND THEY WERE ASKING A TWO-MILLION DOLLAR RANSOM WHICH WAS OF COURSE IMPOSSIBLE TO COME UP WITH AND WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH MY MIND WAS, WE'RE GONNA GET HIM OUT OF THIS.Cathy Morris Alterman put up 50-thousand dollars of her own money, got a private investigator involved and worked with police to contact the men suspected of holding Arce-Flores.(ALTERMAN)I WOULD'VE DONE THIS FOR ANY HUMAN BEING BUT SINCE HE IS A CLIENT I WAS NOT GONNA LET THEM WIN! Monday, police set up a sting in the parking lot of a Waffle House restaurant. Police say one of the two suspects moved aggressively toward an officer's gun. Police shot and killed him.Arce-Flores' lawyer says he was still being held at a different location by another suspect, who he managed to overpower. He escaped to a church.(ALTERMAN)BECAUSE HE LOOKED SO ROUGH THE CHURCH CALLED THE POLICE AND THE POLICE CAME AND TOOK HIM INTO CUSTODY AND SAVED HIMArce-Flores initially gave police a fake name--so it took a while for them to figure out that he was the kidnap victim--one who made it out alive.(TJ WARD/PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR)I WAS IN HOPES THAT WE WOULD. FROM THE INFORMATION THAT WE WERE COMMUNICATING BACK AND FORTH IN OUR WORK WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT. (ALTERMAN)WE BOTH THANKED GOD THAT HE'S ALIVE AND HE BROKE DOWN INTO TEARS.Police say Arce-Flores initially gave them a fake name because he had an outstanding warrant for failing to show up in court on a 2007 drug charge. ___ ___, The Associated Press.

  • Good, sick people need to be killed.

  • If he wasn't part of the "working class" then he wasn't a pillar of the community. Don't care, kidnappers can go to hell.

  • @sharonscw

Sick as in people who rape kids, women...

Not is in like, throw up sick lol :D

  • @HHHdahman You should be killed as well because what you said is disgusting!

  • We need more.

  • @xblade2099 but the government gets paid per prison they put up,and per person they incarcerate. they need to make there quota don't ya know!

  • Finally pieces came together for me: one criminal was kidnapped by another two... Media likes to make their presentations cryptic.

  • @floringguy it comes up as police killing suspect cause that is in fact what the police did. When you aim a gun at someone and fire usually you kill them. Thats how it works. What would you call it?

  • Yea not smart. They are lucky he escaped before the kidnappers holding him realized that the exchange did not happen. If this had happend in South America he would be dead. White people are stupid. Specially in Georgia.

  • Death: The number one deterrent.

That's what people need to realize. If murderers, rapists, crazed gunmen, kidnappers, and others who commit violent crimes like those were killed either immediately in situations such as this or after their trials and convictions, A) we'd save a lot of money, B) the prisons would be a lot less crowded C) there would be no such thing as a repeat offender D) pieces of shit who commit such crimes would think long and hard about committing them in the first place.

  • dont trust a word the gwinnett co police say

  • Gwinnett County, GA Police team with GCFD, other county employees and corporate contractors, such as AT&T, ADT, Comcast, Georgia Power, Lay's Foods, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Atlanta Overhead Doors, etc. and civilian gangs to stalk and harrass Gwinnett residents. Police run gangs in counties with large metropolis can be as large as Sheriff Arpaio's 300,000 posse which they use to intimidate targets mostly for personal reasons. Look up GANG STALKING, Monarch II (pt twelve) on YouTube.
