Way back in 1992 I took a group of people on a tour of this abandoned moutiantop sanatorium and filmed the whole thing with a camera I rented from blockbuster. the device you called a "steam bath" is actually called an autoclave, it used to be used in hospitals to sterilize surgical tools and instruments.

The buildings at the bottom of the hill are mostly still there. Some are gone. This video was taken at the top of the hill where there are now high priced homes, an empty field, etc. It's up next to where the water towers were until 2008 or so...
