smokey eye using nars modern love palette

i think im going to cry! soon after i made this video, i dropped the georgous nars palette and and one of the eyeshadows broke =( I'm kinda of a neat freak for makeup so I'm tempted to buy another one but not sure since the rest of the shadows are still in tact. I dont know if perfection of a palette is worth another 60 bucks. lol yes i know i'm crazy.. i'll just mourn over the loss of a good eye shadow and save the 60 bucks for some other pretty palette. besides, i can just buy the single e/s for cheaper anyway...still.... what a big *sigh*

Sorry you feel like your palette has been spoiled, but life is really too short to worry about a broken eyeshadow...accidents happen all the time !

btw the look looks fabulous, I'm going to buy this palette when I go to the UK (can't buy it in europe online)

Gorgeous look Jestene!! I know what you mean about the neat freak over the makeup! I broke a few MAC shadows trying to depot them to put in my MAC 15 shadow palette and they were my fave colors too, Print and Sushi Flower :( I am going to have to get that Nars palette b/c I love how pigmented their shadows are~Cleo is my all time fave color set!!!

I have that Nars palette - love it! So sorry to read you broke one of the shadows - that's so sad! If it was me - I would buy another one and put it away until I used up the other colors from the first one. You could always get a single shadow to replace the broken one. If you're like me - you probably already have a color in your collection that would work. But - like you said - you have to consider if it's worth the cost. As we all know - Nars ain't cheap! :-)
