Margaret Thatcher recites the poem attributed to St. Francis of Assisi:

"Where there is discord, may we bring harmony. Where there is error, may we bring truth. Where there is doubt, may we bring faith. And where there is despair, may we bring hope."

Her premiership was the second most consquential of the 20th Century and achieved results for world peace not dissimilar to those of Winston Churchill.

  • @j24601valjean I came to see if she sounded like her aswell and to be fair she has the voice ok but the way she said the speech is not even similar.

  • Just heard the Streep version of this iconic rendition of the St Francis quote and came here just to compare. Streep has utterly failed to capture the richly understated britishness of MT. Sorry Meryl: you might fool the yanks, but you ain’t no Margaret Thatcher!

  • Say what you like about her, woman had balls! Go Maggie!!

  • @hardsam68 You are too kind!

  • @PhilemonUmkaka hey you obtuse dickhead you sound like your a white Australian with sexual identity problems,

  • @PhilemonUmkaka hahahah, your obviously gay lol

  • @hardsam68 Hello hardsam69 you are an abo. Ab origine = there from the origin, the begininning, at the commencement. Indigenous = the original people. See the similarity? Maybe you just collect your centerlink (dole) cheque and still maintain feeling that you are the victim of the 'white man'. Ah well, you need something to blame your mediocrity on! Whats with the 'reject english convicts line? Blaming others for taking the jobs you cannot secure even with Goverment help? Bludgers!!

  • @PhilemonUmkaka im an Australian Indigenous person and we feel the same way about you reject English convicts coming out here

  • @DempseyBloom yes people will follow me!" LOL You obnoxiouis little uimportamt little shite. Get some exercise you fat slob and get those teeth fixed. A thespia you are not fat boy LOL

  • @BRUTUALTRUTH Yes, people will follow me. They will not follow you, only because they are not idiots. I am not fat and I do not have rotten teeth idiot. For all i know, you are a 40 year old man prowling on little kids. You bring up the same argument, that i am fat and have rotten teeth. For one, i do not and am not. Two, who cares if i was? Does it change anything? You are probably imagining things up, trying to pick on me, because you feel insecure about your horrible, lonely life. Idiot.
