@DSilvergun It's a good demo nonetheless :)
-
@Rambo29 Ibanez AD-80, AD-9, AD-99, EHX Memory Man, Boss DM-2, DM-3

I think it sounds pretty damn good...doesn't seem to add any volume boost whatsoever...next in my list! how much does it cost?

Aside from tape delay, the AD-900 the the very best delay I've ever used. Sounds gorgeous in the studio. Youtube really doesn't do it justice at all.

This video is light on "review" and heavy on "demo."

@DSilvergun I suppose you are right. I'll have to change it to say demo.

Thanks for the demo bro...can you use this pedal for hard rock and modern metal or is it more for vintage/retro/cleaner music.

@5150VanAlien Yeah, I use the pedal for several types of music. It will work with everything. I suppose for really heavy, you might want to go with a Boss DD-3 or similar digital delay. I just love analog delays though!

This is a nice pedal but the price that Maxon is asking for the new AD-999 reissue is just out of hand. At most it's a simple no frills analog delay, there are many other delays that do the same thing for much less. Good demo though bro thanks again. How old is this one?

Yeah, I'm not quite sure how the AD-999 compares to the AD-900 sound-wise. All I know is that I just love this pedal. It has such an amazing - warm sound.
I'm really not sure how old it is. I have had it for about five years and I actually bought it off Ebay from someone in Japan. It was used when I bought it.
