Rules of food combining from Hippocrates Health Institute: to avoid abdominal bloating, stomach gas and fermentation in the body.

Food combining in the food groups: protein sources, starches, veggies and fruit. Tomato: fruit or vegetable.
Bonus: a time not to drink water?
Also digestive tract and indigestion

  • Boy someone needs to go to restaurants like Dennys and McDonalds and tell the manager to quit serving water, coffee, tea, and soda with the meals

  • @SovereignBeing I read somewhere for men a slightly raised estrogen level isn't bad although it is for women. Testosterone is a killer so reducing it can be healthy. I read that at least. Now I have to do some more research.

  • @kolinyana usually grains.. make a note of what you eat, gluten in grains usually causes this reaction. when you notice it stop eating these things - in fact wheat, cow's dairy, soy, grains in general, processed foods, tap water, sodas, sugar, etc is not good and should be eliminated too.. if you are O blood type u have trouble with grains..

  • @Kdnce well non fermented soy is a hormonal disruptor which causes endocrine imbalance over time, esp combined with fluoride in water, high sugar, bad food choices stressful lifestyle etc..all contributes to a estrogen dominance in the body

    Proteins are best utilized by the body when they match the dna, we are comprised of proteins that are more comparable to meat proteins, so derive more benefit from consuming them and the amino acids within

  • @SovereignBeing Can you provide any reputable sources for soy damaging the thyroid? What is GM? It's easy to just say you need meat w/o any quantifiable evidence to back up your claim. You can get complete proteins from non-meat sources (black beans + quinoa, tofu + black beans, seitan, tempeh) so what else does meat have in it that you think cannot be had with the sources of protein I just mentioned? Edamame is a complete protein as well. What is missing? Please explain.

  • I believe that there is some validity to the importance of proper food combining because I feel much better when I keep it simple. Lots to learn and apply. We are what we eat!
