太地 シャチのナミちゃん えさタイム（Orca Namichan in TAIJI）

※シャチ　ナミちゃんは2011年1月14日午後7時24分、名古屋港水族館で死亡しました。※

5億円でくじらの博物館から名古屋港水族館へ譲渡されるシャチのナミちゃんのえさタイム。
サバとホッケを食べるところ。
ナミちゃんは２３年間太地に住み太地の海に適応しているため、引越による環境の大幅な変化に耐えられるか非常に心配です。
ナミちゃんが長生きできたのも、太地の自然の入江のプールに適応できたからだと思います。
出来ればこのまま、ナミちゃんを太地でずっと飼育してあげて欲しかったです。（撮影日：2009年12月9日）

Nami chan has survived for many years in an enclosure that connects to the ocean, so she has been accustomed to feeling natural ocean water. During her confinement in Taiji, she has also been living in a relatively natural acoustic environment. I fear that taking her from this environment and placing her in the Nagoya Port Aquarium, where she will only be surrounded by concrete walls and have no connection at all with the ocean, will be very stressful for her. I do not believe that Nami chan will survive for very long in these circumstances.(Date shot : 09 / Dec / 2009)

@jhdarcy24 Her name is Nami-chan. She was captured in 1985.

Kuu was captured in 1997, and she was died in 2008 in Nagoya port aquarium.

Nagoya port aquarium want a new orca, so Nami-chan will go to Nagoya soon.

I felt sorry for this whale...She was just 28 years old when she died.Upsetting considering they can live 60-80 years in the wild.

I love the Japanese language! Really beautiful, and the culture too. Plus anime is great!

But this is sad. Very sad. I feel sorry for poor Nami. I wish she could've been free. She's beautiful. RIP Nami.

Nami died today from stress and loneliness. Poor Nami, finally she could meet her family. Last Oct when I first saw Nami at Nagoya aquarium, she looked so lonely. We never saw her playing in the pool. Nagoya aquarium's pool is very small. That was a torture. She was very alone. Director of this aquarium must be replaced. He is just a greedy old man.
