In my opinion, Alicia didn't deserve this role. In an interview, she said that she threw the script away after Joe went to personally offer the role to her at one of her concerts. Can you name me another director that did that for someone? I can't name anyone else. She picked the script out of the trash and read over it and decided to become part of the project. She said she didn't "get it", so she threw it away. If I was Joe, I personally would've dropped her.

@atb4life Yess exactly ! I went to a meet and greet , And she makes fans who shes never met before feel like they are her family ! When I met her you could tell she was genuanly a lovely person and wanted to meet her fans !

its ridiculous to say she'd even need too have sex to get a roll in a movie, she's a celeberty, people WANT them in movies and pay to get them in movies, this should be common knowledge. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if they did do something, but if they did it was purely for fun/love/whatever not for career opportunities.
I mean c'mon, if I was the director, I'd totally hit that ass too. Good job J.C

@rowbyr Anything's possible but like I said in my previous comment she's a really affectionate person in real life. When I met her at a meet and greet she hugged us fans like we were family or a close friend and when we spoke to her she gave each person her undivided attention when answering our questions. She looks you in the eye and makes you feel like you're the only person in the room. So I really don't think her chemistry with him means they hooked up.

Alicia Keys doesn't need to sleep with anyone to get parts in movies. She's not that type of person. She has integrity. Just because she's cool with this guy doesn't mean anything other than that. She is a very friendly person. Just go to her meet and greets. She treats her fans like family. Like she's been knowing them 4 years. She's a very affectionate & sensitive person and doesn't shy away like most celebs do. So it's not unusual 4 her 2 hug or be close 2 someone who touches her heart
