  • For over 40 YEARS, Ritchie Blackmore has been the pre-eminent guitar player of his time. Yes, we'd all rather see him put together another incarnation of Rainbow, but he's happy doing what he's doing now, and he's EARNED that right.

Ritchie Blackmore: the best guitar player on Earth.

  • ritchie is the greatest guitar player ever no one can come closer .

  • @fuck69boy

I'm guessing that means something to you?

  • @QueenReigns1 not asked to come up is the volume of return

  • Someone said that at 5:18 Ritchie looked pissed off because the keyboard player took a solo instead of Ritchie...and does look kind of rattled.

I know it's his band, but christ how many guitar solos do you need in one song?

Talk about being on an ego trip!

  • really good audio! Wish I could have been there. Blackmore is the BEST!

  • @wedge173 Absolutely right mate, nobody comes close to him when he's in the mood. Utter genius!!

  • @DancesWithJoy I posted elsewhere that, in my opinion, after 40 years in various aspects of music that Ritchie Blackmore has EARNED the right to do as he pleases. I still believe that, just as I understand that another version of Rainbow is EXTREMELY unlikely. If there were to be a new Rainbow album I also know that it would be a one-off. But I'd still like to hear it!

I know it's not happening, especially with Dio gone. I guess I'll have to settle for Over The Rainbow and J.R. Blackmore!

  • @DennisGW10 I would not (rather he put together another Rainbow). I LOVE what he is doing now. After listening to Rainbow for 30 years I need more options too.

  • @mc9crusader YES THAT IS RIGHT!

  • @wedge173 IS THAT RIGHT?
