what a hoot...tremendous southern rock at its best. Remember the days when George(the singer) played for Basement Wall..Came to Lake Charles often to play at the puppy pen..the lighthouse..great times..seems like it was yesterday...

I remember when a raido station in Baton Rouge had a contest to name this band and the winner came up with Pot Liquor, Great times growing up in BR

Myself and Charlie Barbour had a big dance hall called Charlie Browns in Lake Charles, La. in 1970 or 71 we booked Pot Liquor, ZZ top, from Texas and another great Baton Rouge group Swamp Fox featuring award winning singer songwriter Becky Hobbs Back before any of them hit the charts. There has always been a lot of great music in that corner of the world...
