This song was written in 1914 by W.C Handy and was one of the first blues songs to reach a pop status and inspire the dance step the Foxtrot. It has been done by such greats as Louis Armstrong, Bessie Smith and Glenn Miller. This arrangement is also from David Hamburgers Acoustic Finger-style Method. I think I finally got the audio straightened out. I am using a Shure PM 58 vocal mic and micing the Fishman amp with a Heil CR 35. I also changed the gender around some in the lyrics, I have a hard time sings about some guy leaving me. :) Guitar is the Taylor 814 CE, through the Digitech Vocalist Live 2 Pedal.
