Fantastic version of a great Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield composition. Recorded a few years earler by Neil as a b-side ballad. The Barry Sisters were known for their albums of Jewish, Irish and Italian songs. Did not chart nationally but charted locally at #49 on the WHYN 560 AM radio survey in Springfield, Massachusetts in early 1964. B-side is "Nobody's Asking Questions (But Everybody Wants To Know)".

  • MORE COWBELL.

  • I can't believe this is the Barry Sisters! Their own style of music is so great - they just don't fit into this pop mode. Sorry ladies - I love you but not like this. RIP Myrna.

  • Am I the only one that doesn't particularly care for Neil's version? This one's got his pop sound down pat, and when I heard his way later, I was surprised...anyway, this is as good as girl group sides get...5*****

  • @LilKama1 Neil can get more.

  • This would be better if it was slowed down some.

All in all, a great cover(:

  • @matuschkas

    >STILL NEEDS MORE.

  • MORE COWBELL.

  • @BlackMonk66 I said "nu, who knew?"

  • @shmuli9 Sorry, my Yiddish is limited to the three or four words that everyone knows. Maybe a couple more after I've been drinking. You lost me after "nu."
