Russian media is feeding you lies about what happened in Georgia the night of August 2008. NTV, RTR, Vesti claims that Georgia start war. The Russian media claims that Georgia started this conflict. This is another blatant lie. Why would a nation of 4 million people ever even think of attacking a 150-million people world superpower?! This is similar to the situation in 1939 when Nazi Germany claimed that it was Poland who actually started the War.
The real genocide happened in Ossetia in the late 1980s and early 1990s when Russian-backed thugs and the Russian military expelled 40,000 Georgian civilians from their homes and killed thousands more.
